ERP5 Leading Innovations ERP5 has introduced leading innovations to ERP design: - **5 Classes Universal Business Model**: all information ends up in one of 5 classes. The exact same concepts are used to represent human resources or production management. This allows to build a consistent system which much lower maintenance or customization costs. - **Document Orientation**: ERP5 single unit of information is the document. Documents in ERP5 are the digital equivalent of documents in real life: invoices, price sheet, etc. ERP5 stores what was input on a document, and only what was input.
