Procurement Methodology Presentation
The main goal of the proposed procurement methodology is to help
the decision making on material purchasing based on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). To achieve this, indirect cost drivers are considered through the stablishment of a supplier ranking, based on a set of criteria that determine its quality of service level. Also, a Mixed-Binary-Integer Linear Programming model is proposed to determine the best set of supplying contracts, under many constraints. The Doctoral Thesis is still in Portuguese and can be obtained directly through me (r.carvalho@computer.org).
