ERP5 leverages both Zope ZEO clustering technology and MySQL replication technology to support large databases and demanding users. This screenshot shows a typical setup for a database of 1,800,000 warehouse movements in a production environment. A main server with dual CPU and 3GB of RAM (first line) provides database storage support (ZEO server and MySQL). A diskless dual CPU server with 2.5 GB RAM (second line) provides HTML rendering CPU power. An inexpensive diskless barebone system with 1GB RAM (third line) is used to process batch tasks. An other inexpensive diskless barebone system with 1GB RAM (fourth line) provides additional HTML rendering power. A third inexpensive barebone system provides a replicated MySQL service to accelerate reporting. Load curves show no exhaustion of power (flat curves would be bad...). More HTML rendering / processing power can be easily added for a typical hardware investment of 50 EUR / user.
